On tap. Deep amber. Resin and tropical fruit nose. Almost caramel malt body, and wonderful fruitiness. A real classic.

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong, Bangkok. The aroma is malt, grassy, citrus fruit, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, fresh, malt, light fruit, light dry woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

500ml bottle. Crystal clear, orangey, deep golden colour with average to huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy, fruity, piney and slightly resinous, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background, notes of orange and mandarine, candied orange peel, a touch of lemon and lime, tropical fruity basic layer. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty and citrusy, tropical fruity hoppy, mildly bitter, clean notes of orange and mandarine, some mango and lemon; lingering, slightly more bitter and zesty finish. Oily texture, smooth, soft and silky palate. Juicy fruity, very clean, almost jelly bear-like fruitiness without any artificiality.

Tap at The Brewers Co-operative. Clear darker golden with off white head. Soft sweet caramel malts, tangerine, light grassy, dank weedy hops, soft blueberries, white grapes. Nice complex hops here with lots of ‘green’ but also nice fruits. Solid classic US pale ale malt base. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with oily finish. Nice.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of spices, hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, straw, spices, anx hops, leading to a bitter finish.

On tap at 16 Tun. Aroma is all sweet pine. Taste has pine, some tropical mango and, dare I say it, some anchovy-esque savouriness.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt and light citrusy and piney hops, seems a bit faded in the hops. Flavour is clean, with light pine and citrusy hops, with a wet biscuity malt backbone. Clean and well-balanced. Doesn't seem as fresh as possible, but it's quite good.

500ml bottle. Pours yellow with hints of orange and a huge foamy head. Grassy nose, intense. Good balance between malts and hops, although as a pale ale a bit less intense than I would wish it to be. Still a good demonstration of the hops of Yakima.

Pours amber with a large lasting head.Nose shows pine, peach, floral hops, sweet rich clean malt and resinous notes.Similar fruity hops as flavours along with a little pine. A fair whack of sweet malt follows along with a biting, piny bitterness.Nice mod-high carbonation.
