Cock Tavern. Cask. Almost clear amber beer, small off white head. Palte is light and dry, modest carbonation. Fresh malts. Twangy bitterness relieved by a little orange marmalade. Light dry finish. Fairly strong bitter linger. Not bad but pretty dry.

Cask at the brewery taproom. Pours clear russet with a tight, frothy off-white head. The nose has some tangy berries, leaves, slight bread. Light sweet flavor with some out-of-place ashy notes, creamy bread, dry smoke, semi-dry berries. Light bodied with soft carbonation; so so condition. Sweet finish with mellow leafy bitterness, a bit of lightly toasted bread, light ashy earth. So so. Cask might not be in tip top shape.

Cask at the Brick brewery. It pours clear deep amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is wood, grain, earth, leather, brown bread, pear drop and marmalade. The taste is wood, bread, earth, leather, light bitterness and faint caramel with a dry finish. Some orange citrus on the burp. Medium body and fine carbonation. A well rounded bitter. Solid stuff.
