Sample (thanks omhper!). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is nutty, floral, some fruity and mild herbal tones. Flavour is fruity, floral, some toffee is and mild alcohol and some dry wooden tones.

[ As Skellefteå Spruce Diamond Frog Lord ].
ABV: 11.0%. Cloudy medium amber colour with a small, fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, spruce, dried fruit, phenol, candy, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, candy, dried fruit, phenol, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210619]

Canned, from Systembolaget. Hazy amber/copper colour, mid sized head. Aroma of spruce needles and caramel. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Peppery alcohol in caramel, syrup and bread. Lots of spruce. Warming finish.

Burk från SB. Rostbrun/murken bärnstensfärgad med blekgul/beige hög krona. Doftar sött och maltigt av torkad aprikos, brittisk fruktkaka, honung, aprikosmarmelad och ljus torkad frukt. Något större kropp, mjuk kolsyra. Mycket samma i smaken men med en mer framträdande kryddig ton och mintighet från granskotten, ger en lite stickande känsla i tungan. Smaken från granskotten ger association till amerikansk barleywine med stor beska, men beskan uteblir. Knäckig ton och bränt socker i avslutningen. Förvånansvärt lättdrucket. Lite udda, men gott.
