This ruby red beer exhibits all the rich body and hoppy, wintry aromas of much stronger beers. Well matched to the season in which it is brewed.

Cask at the Mash & Press, Anstey. Light reddish brown, clear with a small beige/khaki head. Woody, almost funky aroma, some breadfruit, some turps. Tastes bittersweet, more woody Funk but it feels a little artificial. Lightly spiced. Some astringent in the finish. Not bad at all.
