Tried at the horse and jockey, Waddington. Amber bitter colour with a white head. Aroma malty. Taste light sweet to light bitter.

Hand-pulled pint in The Talbot, Cleobury Mortimer on 21st June and again at the Stafford Hockey and Cricket Clubhouse on 28th June. Good chestnut coloured body with a full creamy beige head. Malty lead in both the aroma and taste with the hops not far behind. Easy drinking beer with enough flavour to keep you interested.

Cask @ Three Tuns, Biddenham. Clear amber, sizeable and fairly tight cream-coloured head. Sulphur astringency in the nose: very Burton-y. Subtle hints of peach and biscuit. Nice crisp bittersweet taste. The finish is long and slightly bitter/sour without being acrid. Overall, it’s a simple, classic bitter. Make sure you have it good condition.

Cask @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Clear golden-brown with a creamy head. It’s grain driven in taste with a malty bitter finish.
