Frydenlund Pilsner is a Norwegian lager beer with a beautiful golden colour and well-balanced malt and hops aroma with a light fruitiness. The taste is medium-bodied and pure, with a nicely balanced malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness.

Can 500ml (from Kirkenes)
Clear golden colour, small white head, lace. Sweetish malty, industrial grainy nose. Light-bodied. Twisted riped fruity sweet malty, pear like aroma. Industrial leaving "real pils" attitude away. Eastern European vibe.

50cl can from Meny Bjølsen, Oslo. Pours clear pale golden with a very modest white head. Farily mild grainy aroma with some slightly fruity notes and hints of cooked vegetables and grass. Moderate sweet with low flavour intensity, but at least a fairly noticable bitterness. A quite standard Norwegian industrial lager, not the worst one, but highly forgettable still. --- Beer merged from original tick of Frydenlund Pilsner on 12 Jun 2015 at 18:35 - Score: 4

From can 12.10.14. Clear golden. White head and lacing. Sweet.maize, grains vegetables and a hint of hops in weak taste aroma. Waterish. A minor hint of hops and bitterness in taste and aftertaste. A bland Eurolager without any major off-tastes. Without much taste at all, come to think of it.
