This pale ale is a beer for all palates and offers a light, smooth and refreshing taste. The aroma is a blend of fresh picked hops with wonderful citrus notes. The flavor has a malty velvet feel that balances perfectly with a zest of citrus, providing a flowery subtle finish that clears and won’t linger.

Handpull cask at the Ale Wagon, Leicester. Light to mid-gold and clear with a thin ring of white head. Malty hay-ridden aroma with light golden syrup notes. Sweet taste, bready malt, some honey and agave syrup. Heavy body with no carbonation. Decent typical golden.

Cask at Lillie Langtrey’s, Nottingham. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, malt, yeasty, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A simple pale ale. Fine for a session.

23/11/2019. Bottle from Nottingham Beer Festival. Pours clear golden amber with minimal head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, hops, fruit and grass. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Disappointing compared to the others I’ve had from this brewery.
