Roasted cacao shells are a waste product generated from the artisan chocolate making process. These crisp and delicate shells hold fragments of flavoursome cocoa nibs which we include in the mashing process.
This festive stout has an unctuous velvety-smooth mouthfeel, balanced with the subtle aftertaste of bittersweet dark chocolate.

Cask @ Portland House, Sheffield. Extremely dark with a thin off-white head. Light and dryish in its roasted malt taste, with a slightly more stated aroma in this respect.

Bottle. Welbeck Abbey Farm Shop. Clear, very dark red. Skim of tan. Aroma of fruit and nut chocolate. Taste is light dry, and light, roast bitter. Feels thin, and over carbonated. Finishes dry and light, roast bitter.
