An eclextic mix of the old and new world, Hop Rocket used traditional English floor malted Maris Otter barley, with flavour-packed American Cascade and Chinook hops. A heavenly loading of Rakua hops from New Zealand are added in the fermenter for an extra twist, before finishing with English Admiral.

Holy fucking ball sacks! Did a million searches for this fucker. Couldn’t find it. Tried adding it. Second time of asking this fucker pops up. It’s called Hop Rokket now and it’s wank. I hate Ratebeer.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Slightly paler golden in colour with a very thin head. Hoppy and tastes very sugary, with a substandard liquor bitter finish. There's some fruitiness available, but mainly in its nose.

330ml bottle from Booths, Penwortham. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of orange barley twists, the boiled sweets. Taste is bitter, light malt, boozy, some lemon. Needs mair hops for the style.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - clear amber with a decent thin lacy head. Nose - orange, earthy spice. Orange barley sweets. Taste - orange liqueur. Then bitter pith. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - odd, it seemed dry at the start and then had enough dryness to clean it ok. This should be a barley wine or at least an English strong ale. Or maybe even an ipa.
