Draught, 6.9% at Øllets dag, Kolding. 2021. Papery aroma. Black colour. Seems cloudy. Stable light brown head. The flavour is papery and roasted. Fairly dry finish. Dry berries. Good mouthfeel. 636315

Can 44 cl. Pours an opaque black with a smallish, light brown head. Sweet vanilla aroma. Pretty thin body, dry - even tart - with subtle berry notes and again vanilla acents. Pastry Stouts simply don't work with such a weak base. This is the kinda breakfast that will leave you still hungry. 250321

Near black with a foamy tan head, all with a tinge of dark red. Smells fruity, and has a very smooth mouthfeel, with sweet fruit predominating, along with some sourness to balance it out, and a very lightly roasted, mellow malt backbone. Very easy drinking fruity stout, which belies its strength, leaving a dry fruity aftertaste with some vanilla character.

Calderdale Beer Festival 2019, Halifax. Black with a healthy tasting alcohol-infused wood cask ageing. This is a strength over flavour brew in terms of taste.
