Inspired by one of our favourite breakfasts: blueberry waffles. this indulgent and full-bodied stout has a sweet, malty body, topped with rich fruit flavours. It's breakfast in a can.

Can. Tesco. Clear, deep cola brown. Film of sticky, lasting, beige head. Nose has blueberry and maple. Cook’s chocolate. Some cocoa and ground coffee. Taste has a fruity, syrup sweetness. Gets earthy and tangy bitter. Medium body. Fine, crisp carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Decent. A bit sticky and a bit bitter.

Lata 44 CL en vivalabirra 20.. 03.. 2019. Color negro intenso con espuma beige que desaparece casi por completo al poco tiempo. Sabor msltosos tostados con dosis apreciables de cereales, galletas, masa de pan... Suaves tostados y ligeros ahumados. Cuerpo medio con no mucha sensación alcohólica. Buen sabor, en algunos momentos resulta algo seca. Original, buena, para repetir.

Draft. A red-brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, coffee, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of coffee, roasted malt, and bread, leading to a bitter finish.

[44cl can from Tesco, Warfield.] A cherry cola coloured pour with a reddish tint and a tight coffee coloured head; blueberry aroma; sweet in teh mouth with blueberries, waffle and syrup as advertised; then drier with some chocoalte malts, fresh sharp blueberries and a milky chocoalte finish. Interesting but rather too sweet for me.

Can from Tesco, Reading. Brown-black with a moderate tan head. Distinct blueberry up front with a mild roastiness. Vanilla comes through giving a smooth mouthfeel, then there's a definite waffle taste. It might equally be muffin or brioche, but oddly I got a hint of burnt fat afterwards that definitely made me think of waffle. Or pancake. There's a touch more blueberry before a black coffee finish washes it all down. Clever and fun; the brewer seems to have achieved exactly what they set out to do in a very enjoyable, drinkable and more-ish way. It's astonishing you can now get a beer like this in a UK supermarket for £2 - well done Tesco for stocking it, more like this please!

Can at a friend's. Pours deep brown, nose is maple syrup, blueberry, roasted, coffee, taste is similar, quite sweet, juicy fruit, hint of the cinnamon.
