Pours black, topped with a large beige head, lasting quite a long time. Moderate chocolate nose with hints of roastiness and vanilla. Sweet, milky chocolate start, cereals and medium bitterness in the finish, though a bit too herbal. Silky, medium full body. Lasting aftertaste, a bit peppery and herbal. End quite dry. Alcohol nicely hidden. Finally another noce one from Doctor Brew.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, breadish, dsrk malty and slight liqourice. Bitter, dark roasted malty. Lingering liqourice and roasted dark malty finish.

Draught at Taphouse. Pitch black with a thin tanned head. Sweet aroma with coffee, liquorice, chocolate and lingering sherry barrel. Taste is light sweet. Medium to full body with an oily texture. Finishes sweet and toasted bitter with dark malts and sherry. Very good.

Caña en cimmeria 13..07..2016 (r109). Color negro con buena espuma oscura. Aromas y sabores suaves al principio algo tostados maltosos seguidos de ciertos licores y acabando con vainilla y torrefactos junto con ligero amargo seco y duradero. Cuerpo medio a intenso líquido y suave con ligera sensación alcohólica. Buena. Para repetir.

Bottle @ home. Opaque dark brown to black color, full sized brown head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, a bit earthy and lightly ashy, (Dutch) ’bruin broodkorstje’, roasted malts. Taste malts, lightly roasted malts, bitter, a bit earthy and lightly a coffee hint. Average to medium body, firm carbonation. Hmm ok, not a typical sweet stout (is it actually a sweet stout?) but it’s ok.

Bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of Marcin. Pours pitch black color with large frothy light brown color and good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, sherry and vanilla. Taste starts with light sweet but rich roasted malt and coffee, follows by smooth oats and dark fruits, mouthfeel is mild spicy, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Silky, hoppy and not too strong, great one...

Bottle from ebrowarium.pl. Dark brown, beige foam. Sweet nose of caramel and toffee with bitter roastiness of coffee. Milky, not too sweet. Hoppy finish. Good stout.
