The taste confirms all the promises perceived by the nose, with the addition of notes of biscuits, almonds, nuts and a subtle spicy finish with licorice.

On tap at Open Baladin - Rome, pours a clear bright reddish amber with a small white head. Aroma is full of red berries, toffee, cherry liqueur, and light esters. Flavour is very fruity, with tons of red fruits, moderate esters, and toffee. Tons of red fruits and pleasant esters, but I can’t say I’m a fan.

Lots of dark fruit, quite a bit of caramel malts, and bready malts. Flavor was very sweet, and borderline cloying. Some light hops, and more fruit, with a big bready maltiness.

Pours a nicely transparent amber, with a rather dense head, the slightest off-white; nice persistence and lacing. A not very bright/potent aroma shows a dominant malty character (mainly caramel, lighter honey) with a background of fruitiness (jam like/ripe orange most noticeable). Taste notes follow the aroma, with a touch of spiciness (can't get something specific). Depth/complexity is at most decent, but flavours are clean and well defined. There's quite high sweetness and quite low bitterness, but the finish is decently dry with a hint of neutral or maybe slightly floral bitterness; still a bit too sweet for my ideal liking. Well hidden alcohol. Medium bodied with average carbonation, feels a bit soft but rahter easygoing for it's abv, you would probably take a guess for a lower alcohol content. Overall not my ideal stuff but undoubtedly accomplished and likeable to a vast public.
