The use of bottom fermenting yeast at lower temperatures makes for pronounced bitterness & a mild floral aroma that comes from the use of North American Cascade Hops.

Bottled@SBWF2015. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is salty, bready, herbal and some mild toffee to it. Flavour is similar, but has no toffee, but the herbal notes are more evident instead.

Bottle BB 02/12/15.Hazy straw to pale golden color, small white head. Malty, cream, bread scent. Malty, cream taste. Short mineral aftertaste with hints of iron. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. When warming up gets a wort like scent that isnät all that pleasant, as usual numbers/rating score points to my first impressions.

Colour is clear medium amber, small foamy off-white head, dissipates quickly, not so much lacing. Aroma moderate malty, grainy, thyme, hay. Flavour moderate sweet and bitter, herbal and spicy notes. Finish is dry bitter with lingering herbal and spicy presence; overall not a helles as it should be, but hey quite a surprise that such an interesting and special beer can be made in the Middle-East and moreover very drinkable. Not everything is hopeless in the region!

Bottle #2 while enjoying great Lebanese meal at illili. Pours gold with dissipating white head. Tastes of grains, corn, straw, bread, light hopping. Nothing offensive or exciting here.
