A noble and refined combination of elements – wonderful porter-like notes of dark chocolate and fiery chili spice.

This beer is brewed using the traditional bottom-fermentation method, which requires long aging. This is why the bouquet you sense is so rich. Combined with the spiciness of chili, it is a perfect match for desserts and exquisite dishes made of noble meats.

A great choice for those who, apart from the perfect classics, are still looking for new flavors and sophisticated, rare combinations of flavors.

One of the few such beers in the world.

Bottle, 8.0%. Mild malty aroma. Black colour, seems clear, though. Small light brown head. The flavour is nicely malty at first, but quite soon comes a distinct chili note. Actually quite well-balanced.

Bottle @ Zentraleuropäischer Wahnsinn 2. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear, sweet aroma of caramel malt with touches of dried fruit. Sweet flavour of caramel and malt with a pronounced note of chili. Very spicy aftertaste. Nice but would be better without the strong chili aftertaste.

Bottle. It’s a reddish dark brown beer with a small, dense dark beige head. The aroma feels a bit weak, but it’s pretty similar to the regular Grand Imp Porter. Chocolate, coffee, roasted malts and some molasses in the flavor. The chili sneaks up on you, leaving a warming feeling on the palate and in the throat. Full body and pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish with chili burn, chocolate, coffee and some molasses sweetness. Overall, definitely worth drinking. This beer is a proof chili and beer can go very well together. 130913
