8 3 8 3 16Draft at the brewpub shared with Deanso. Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of ripe dark fruits, caramel, butterscotch, boozy notes, toffee, molasses, dried fruits and dark malts. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and light carbonation.

30cl on tap at the brewpub. Thin beige head. Clear deep burgundy pour. Sweet raisin aftertaste.

Clear rich reddish amber beer, tidy pale tan head. Smooth palate, slightly viscous and leaves a little stickiness on the lips. Decent superfine carbonation. Smooth malts, good start! Touch of creamy sweetness, pretty mild. Mellow caramel and toffee. Lovely Port Wine vibe, red berries and all. Little woody brandy underneath. Very mild spice. Some vague marmalade on the back end. Finishes surprisingly light and with mild bitterness. A surprisingly assured and mature barleywine. Has great depth and character, carries next to no heat for it's huge abv and to cap it all, it's just plain old fashioned drinkable. A delightful surprise.

Sampled @ Festival Dobrego Piwa Wroclaw 2017. Klare rötlich goldene Farbe, geringe beige Schaumkrone. Geruch nach reifen Früchten, Karamell, leicht hopfig. Geschmack ist intensiv malzig, reifes Obst, Karamell, Holz, sehr alkoholisch.

From tap. Pours hazy amber to red. Small tan hesd. Aroma is toasted malty and slight fruity. Dense malty. Caramelish. Bitter and dense malty. Slight sweet. Bitter, malty and alcohol warmth. Dry malty far finish.
