Many thanks for this fantastic sample to Tomek. buchnelo wyraznie chmielowa dzikoscia, zywica, olejkiem jakims, z jakims balsamem mi sie kojarzylo, w smaku triplowa podstawa, klasztorna tresciwosc i mnostwo chmielowego posmaku, tak sporo niczym skala zniszczen redakcji Der Gegner w 33r przez SS, moze kiedys i w redakcj telewizji nowej...:) z tego samego kraju.

Dużo fenoli, estrów, tropików, żółtych owoców. Generalnie dużo się dzieje. Barwa miedziana, lekko zmetnione, piana ogranicza się do krążka, nie obkleja szkła. Goryczka średnioniska, karmelowa (?), trawiasta. Piwo złożone, bardzo ciekawe połączenie Belga z Ameryką. Niestety z czasem wychodzi alkohol, ale jest dość subtelny. Bardzo ciekawe, chętnie powtórzę.

Bottled. Hazy amber, small coarse head. Rich aroma of marzipan and tangerine. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Peppery tangerine, marzipan and grain. Warming finish. Nice.

ABV: 8.0%. Murky matt medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, fruity malt, sweet malt, moderate to heavy yeasty, fruity yeast, tripel yeast, phenol, yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sharp, phenol, sweet yeast, belgian yeast, fruity malt, fruity yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190426]

On tap at Piw Paw, pourd a hazy dark copper orange with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with diacetyl to the degree that nothing else is detectable. Flavour is an absolute train wreck, with mega-diacetyl, maybe some paint thinner too. Holy hell is this fucked up.

Draught @ PUB Browar Spoldzielczy, Gdansk. Pours hazy dark brown with a creamy offwhite head. Aroma of malt, belgian yeast, light spice, fruity hops, green apples, light citrus. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, malt yeast, spice, fruit, citrus, alcohol. Medium to full body, average carbonation, sweet light bitter finish with some warming alcohol. 061117

Light haze on this gold beer, a few white bubbles. Palate is light and fairly dry, modest carbonation. Light malts, smooth and a touch grainy. Floral orange, orange squash and ripe orange. Pith. Mild crystallised fruits. Light finish. Mmm. The lack of carbonation is not doing this beer any favours, but even if that was pitched better, this comes over as neither a convincing tripel or a decent IPA.

Ladna zlota barwa z delikatnym zamgleniem, piana biala, niska, nie trwala. Po otwarciu aromat chmielowy - cytrusowy, po chwili zaczyna dominowac Belgia z przewaga estrów nad fenolami. Wyczuwalna brzoskwinia, figa, przejrzaly banan, delikatne nuty przyprawowe przeplataja sie z przyjemna alkoholowoscia. Aromat bez zarzutu jednakze troche brakuje chmielu , Belgia 70% US 30%. W smaku fajna belgijska owocowa slodycz która kontruje przyjemna, srednia zywiczno-iglasta goryczka z rozgrzewajacym alkoholowym finiszem. Odpowiednie wysycenie srednie do niskiego, gladkie, sliskie, dosc pelne ale dzieki dobremu balansowi niezwykle pijalne. Dobra interpretacja stylu.

Draught @ PUB Browar Spółdzielczy, Gdańsk. Pours hazy orangeish amber with stable white head. Clear aroma of fruit and malt, with some sourish notes and touches of of yeast and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of malt and yeast. Fruity touches. Estery aftertaste with acidic notes. Well, honestly, I don’t know what to think of it. Without the sourish notes it would be much better. It’s not that bad with them, though.
