Super porter o nieco dymnym harakterze, przypominalo mi zapach ogniska, w smaku cygaro dlugo trzymane w ustach, taki namoczony lisc tytoniu, troche podobne do niektorych rauchbier. Oleistosc i likierowosc, troche nut czekolady deserowej. Wyglad to srednia piana i srednio trwala, lekko bezowa, czarne i geste, wogole nie przepuszczajaca barwa swiatla. No i fajna ksztaltna masywna butelka tworza ogolna dobra calosc ciekawego produktu. Jak porter ktos chce na wieczor to ten polecam szczegolnie. Do tego jest przyjemne i nie ciezkie. Jak to niektorzy oceniaja ze jest pijalne.

Bottiglia: Very deep ruby-amber coloured, presumably hazy, small brownish foamy layer; sweetish toasty and caramelly nose, fruity and very delicate smoky traces underneath; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, medium bodied, very smooth; slightly lingering, slightly drier toasty and sourish finish with a mild, but still increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Not earth-shaking, but pretty well drinkable…

(bottle, 33cl) Dark brown, almost black coloured hue with a beige and short foamy head. Slightly sweet/sugary dark malty aroma with earthy and leafy/tobacco accents, accompanied by notes of chocolate and a whiff of coffee. Moderately sweet and slightly roasty bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly leathery and mildly roasted malty base with leafy notes, chocolate and traces of toffee; mildly sweet-bitter and delicately sour, also not too long finish. Okay, but not really a “burner”. 17.II.16

Very dark brown with thin, lacy head. Aroma and flavour have some bittersweet coffee and roasted malts. Perhaps a touch of tobacco in the aftertaste.

0.33 bottle from Za popen’t, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Pitch black with small tan head, looks like coffee. Typical roasty aroma, some chocolate there, metal. Roasty, dry, some acidity in the finish, no real trace of tobacco. Coffee maybe. Not bad, but I’m not impressed.
