Praline Chocolate Porter. Dark forces are at work in this devilishly good Praline Porter. Chocolate and fruit come a-knocking. Soft roasty character, with notes of dark berries, mellow coffee and a subtle nuttiness. This beer was in the knockout stages of Beatnik 2018 - grab a slice while you can.

On tap at BrewDog Canary Wharf. Black beer lasting tan head. I got some thing red berry from this almost like raspberry. Then dry chocolate cake. Pretty much the same all the way through a dry chocolate sponge cake with a touch of berry blueberry or raspberry.

Keg @ Brewdog Lothian Road, Edinburgh. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and dark chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. 170419

On keg at Brewdog Lothian Rd, Edinburgh. Appearance - opaque black with a fluffy off white head. Nose - apprenticeship lactose and honey on this bit it's relatively dry. Creamy chocolate and then biscuit. Taste - more creamy chocolate and a bready or biscuit edge. Palate - creamy yet crunchy. Close to medium bodied. Overall - good stuff.

On tap at BrewDog Roma. Almost black colour, beige head. Aroma of cocoa, dark chocolate, light fruity, roast. Flavour is dry, chocolate, cocoa, light fruity, roast, hint of coffee, bitter finish. Light bodied, a bit watery.

Draft @ BrewDog MalmΓΆ. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate caramel aroma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel finish.

Can@Lars tasting - dark brown to black with a small ringed beige head. Dark malty with notes of cocoa and caramel, with some nutty notes going in, medium body, dark malty nutty chocolate finish.

Sample from 33 cl can. Dark amber colour with a creamy lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, chocolate, herbal roasted notes. Cake. Taste is light sweet. Drying sweet finish. Dark malts. Nice.
