Sampled at Warsaw Beer Festival, spring 2018. Dark brown to black body with a small beige head. Strong aroma of dark, roasted malt and peated whisky. Complex and rich flavor of dark, sweet, roasted malt, peat, smoke, dry fruit and hint of dark chocolate with balanced bitterness and warming alcohol. Full bodied and aftertaste that lasts forever (and almost spoiled the five next beers). Delicious.

28 marca 2018 Aromat wędzony bardzo intensywny i jakby owocowy Piana niewielka beżowa bursztynowe , rubinowe Smak suszonych wędzonych jabłek, słodki słodowe oraz aromaty torfowe w smaku Prawie bez gazu, dużo ciała bardzo gładkie, finisz rozgrzewający, alkohol lekko wyczuwalny Ogólnie piwo bardzo dobre słodziutkie deserowe bardzo pijalne.

Bottled on 28.03.2018. 4 years old smoked scotch ale. Dokladnosc badan laboratoryjnym jakie poddawane sa piwa ze Zwolenia wskazuja na 11,63% plato 32,21. Cudownie pachnie torfem beczka po dymnej Laphroaig dala pelna aromatyczna moc. Zerowa piana ale cudnie wedzone pyszne winne wisnie, porzeczki i grona moldawskie. Nie wiem gdzie wiecej tej wedzonki czy w didko od Rockmila, urbocku schlenkerli czy w jakimkolwek nafcirzu. W karzdym razie piwo niemal Idealne w kazdym wymiarze. Polecam do dojrzewającego wedzonego boczku o ile lubimy taki extrem torfowy

Bottle 0.33l from our archive, the fifth one for our ninth wedding anniversary. Cloudy, dark copper to brown colored. AROMA- quite peaty, dark berries, cherry, strawberry, aged character of wooden barrel, slightly cheesy. FLAVOR- moderately sweet, moderately bitter, lightly warming, a bit peaty, whiskey, cherry, berries, wooden barrel, cheese, plum, red and black currant, raspberry... Full bodied. Delicious.

Bottle. Color: Murky brown, very thin beige head. Aroma: Pretty strong peat. Taste: Sweetish, caramel and dark fruit, plum, combined with strong peat and leather notes. Hints of nuts, vanilla, ash, iodine. Bit medicinal. Over moderate to medium sweet, over moderate bitterness. Long lasting peat and leathery finish. Full body, low carbonation. Bit sirupy, oily. Well balanced. Nice one to enjoy slow sipping on a relaxing evening.

330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with ruby glimmer and slightly late awakening, small, creamy, beige head that dissipates into a handful of tiny bubbles. Sweet-ish, caramel and dark malty aroma, BA notes of leather and peat, hints of caramel, malt lozenge, milk chocolate. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel and dark malty with additional, dry BA notes of peat and leather, a touch of ashes, hints of malt lozenge, milk chocolate; fruity hints of plum wine and Marsala in the finish. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, soft carbonation. Very nice sipper.

Bottle. Pours clear deepest red. Aroma is strong peat, tar, barrel, ash. Body is heavy and strong, Laphroaig, sweet, umami, booze, caramel, lively carbonation. Cold smoke. Intense, too much sugar, but works.

Weird little 50cl bottle, funny little cork too. Pours a garnet amber with some sticky, beige head. Nose has smoke and peat and cola. Not much else. Flavor has meat and rubber and smoke, caramel, cola. Finishes thick, smokey. Not my thing.
