355ml can. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Resinous, piney and citrusy hoppy aroma, notes of pineapple, pineapple jellybear, lemon, lemon peel, hints of grapefruit, minimally sugary, caramel, pale and crystal malty background. Taste is dry, bitter, piney and slightly citrusy hoppy, hints of woody pineapple, some lemon, papery overtones; bitter, almond malty finish. Two brillant solo players don't form an invincible team together automatically...

12 oz. can, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright piney hops upfront, with a nice woodiness, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is bitter and piney, with bitter piney hops, wood, and crisp biscuity malt. Perhaps it's not quite as fresh as it could be, but it's punchy and crisp. Classic west coast IPA.

Every so slightly hazy copper coloured body with a nice three centimetre tall off-white head - looks nice enough so far. Aroma of fresh grassy and slightly nutty and earthy hops that show more of a Simcoe or Tomahawk bite without much resinous, piney or grassy qualities - more of the dry, less alpha acid notes - and not in a good way. Medium-bodied; Strong earthy and nutty flavours more from the hops, than from a malt side of things, but the hops are very underwhelming with only a light nutty and herbal flavour, and nothing that reminds me of either IPA. Aftertaste is dry, grainy, malty and only barely showing any real hop qualities, and what they do show aren't exciting, especially for a West Coast IPA - very passable and mellow, even fresh. Overall, perhaps one of the poorest beers I could imagine, and maybe that is due to my high expectations - but this was really bad. I love both a 'real' Stone IPA and definitely an AleSmith IPA, so couple them together, in a can, and drink fresh, what could go wrong? It turns out - everything. This was not a good IPA, period. Do not buy and definitely don't run out trying to find this one! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 23-December-2018 for US$3,49 sampled at home to root on the Los Angeles Rams, during Super BowlLIII on 03-February-2019.

0.355l can. Slightly hazy golden body with a lasting white head. Aroma and taste of mostly grapefruit and resin with notes of honey and pine. The bitterness lasts quite long after the sip. Not an overcomplicated IPA, but good nevertheless.

Can. Clear amber with a large white head. 3+ Aroma of mango skin, bread crust, pine, some grapefruit. Fairly light bodied, somewhat resinous towards the end. Some of the fruit notes get lost, leaving bread, pine and quite strong bitterness. But it's still pretty good.

Sampled on draft at 3 Rivers this beer poured a dark orange color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was tart, citric and perfumey. The flavor was very bitter, tart and somewhat dry with citrus, perfume and pine. Long hoppy finish. Medium body.
