15 February 2019. La Quince TTO @ Dok, Ghent. Cheers to Anke! Pours clear dark golden with a lasting, small, foamy, off-white head; little lacing. Aroma of mango, lime juice, pineapple, unripe mandarin, breadcrust, fresh onion, honey, apple peel. Taste is light to medium fruity sweet, (ripe) pineapple & mandarin on a honeyish & bready malty base; only light hoppy bitter in the middle, yet grapefruity, further notes of bitter mango & apple peel. Dryish, floral hoppy finish, bit piney, more apple & honey. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice but it feels a bit thin in taste too.

Clear dark orange beer, small creamy off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: some caramel malts, bit fruity, grains, bit of mango, lychee, some cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty start, some caramel, bitter, fruity, citrus, little soapy. Aftertaste: fruity, floral, bitter, dry, some grapefruit.

Tap at Indewildeman, 22nd March 18. Pours light amber, aroma is citrus, grapefruit. Taste is bitter, grapefruit, hops and citrus fruit infused, light floral. Good.

Tap @Craft & Draft, Amsterdam. Hazy medium golden colour, good frothy off-white head. Aroma malt, citrus, pine. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, fruity, herbal notes. Dry sweetbitter finish, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, nice.

Sampled from tap at ’Craftbeer Corner Coeln’. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, creamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, moderately fruity aroma of mango, orange and vanilla. Slightly sweetish, moderately bitter, grassy taste of mango, pineapple, vanilla and some straw, followed by a medium long, quite bitter, grassy-dry finish. Medium body, creamy and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty!
