Mi2 på Cardinal, denne gangen entusiastisk ledet av Assisterende Seremonimester. Kveldens siste øl: uklar brunlig med kort skum. Oksydert aroma og smak med sviskeplommer og sherry. Flat munnfølelse, men kveldens panel var uansett krute godt fornøyd med virkningen. 0,33 flaskene var datert bb. 060322.

Bottle split at the 2nd CBJ tasting, thanks to Kenny, 31/08/23. Murky amber with a beige cap that thins edgewards. Nose is caramel, stewed fruits, bourbon, dark malts. Taste comprises creme brulee, melted brown sugar, toffee, spice, booze, bourbon. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Tidy.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Ken. Pours unclear red-gold with a small, foamy off-white head. Medium sweet flavour, lots of semi-dark fruits, booze, old wood. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, old wood, dried berries.

Bottle. Pale hazy brown, low head. Wax and honey, rosehips, medium full sticky body, sweet resin, light oxidation, cheese, barrel aftertaste, pudding, doesn't mesh well.

Bottle. Hazy orange color with soapy white head. Aroma is raisins, caramel, wood. Taste is wood, caramel, tart, raisins. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Just okay, nothing special.

Bottle from koht. Pours dark amber. Aroma and flavor are sweet, malty, boozy, bitter, caramel, fruits. Overall: ok, too boozy.

Hazy amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, mildly dry, modest fine carbonation. Smooth malts, good toffee caramel and supporting vanilla. Little alcohol spice. Smoother oaky vanilla. Spicy dried fruits, quite rich. Smooth semi dry finish. Very good rich and pleasing flavours here, if they had been delivered in a richer palate, this would be right up there.
