A really nice hoppy lager at “only” 4,7%. I would not have guessed a lager if someone just gave it to me. Lovely hoppy touch. A lot of the normal apa stuff like citric hops, spruce and fruity. Nice malty backbone. Lovely deep golden color and a fine lasting head. Also a fine lasting tail in the flavor.

Bottle. It's a foggy orange-golden colored beer with a dense, finger-thick white head. Some curtains. The aroma is on the hoppy side, with pine cones, peach, grapefruit and a generic citrus touch, as well as some grassy notes and pale malts. The flavor has a decent bitterness, easily dealing with the residual sweetness. Pine cones, resins, grass, some hay, grapefruit and peach notes, and pale malts as a backdrop. Medium to full body and a pleasant carbonation level, quite smooth on the palate. Lasting fruity finish with a distinct lager touch in the back. A very pleasant one, both tasteful and quenching, and sort of complex as well. 180228

330ml bottle, batch nr 1891, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. A two-finger thick white head with good duration over a misty yellow-golden body. Spotty lacing to the glassware. Herbal hops and a twist of citrus on the nose. Flavoured with ripe citrus, mild pine, and distant honeyed malts. Rounded bitter ending. Medium bodied. Drinks very well. (Tromsø 04.02.2018).
