Norwegian Farmhouse Kveik IPA.
Cooking up this collaboration beer with Wicked Barrel was kinda like a trip.
We started off our journey on top of the small, new kveik bandwagon.
After that we went a bit back to Ancient times, for some fat bags of spelt malt.
And then we settled Down Under, bringing in funky, tropical hops.
Not the smartest move, going in blind like that, but that fits our profile.
Besides, without courage, taking risks and a bit of madness, you can’t really discover New Lands.

# 4910; 2/2026. Tropical fruits, yesty, piney, herbal aroma. Hazy gold body, white head. Citrus, orange, piney, yeasty, herbal, juicy, light alcohol warmth. Fuller body, soft catbonation. Excellent kveik IPA. 0,2 l, draught, craft-beer bar (Tap), Bucharest.

Hazy yellow colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some leafy and skunky hops. Some muted tropical fruits too.

Draught @ BBF 2019 11th. edition [ Borefts Beer Festival 2019 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands.
[ As Hop Hooligans / Wicked Barrel New Lands ].
ABV: 7.5%. Murky matt medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, light to moderate hoppy, tropical fruit, light yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, tropical fruit, minerals - yeast, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity, light grass. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190927]

Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival 2019, day 1. Milky pale yellow color, white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, wheat, grassy, slightly citrussy perhaps, decently grassy hop bitter though. Not bad.

Rocky white head stayed on an ultra hazy pale lemon coloured turbid body. Pineapple, mango, & orange aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the palate with a short sharp dry back. Bitter/Sweet citrus, mango, pineapple, Tropical fruits & pithy tastes with a tangy fruit finish.

330ml can. Opaque pale golden yellow, big white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, apricot, grassy, pine. Taste is juicy fruits, apricots, mango, papaya, citrus, grassy, piney resin, mild hop bitterness. Medium body, smooth.

At Borefts 2019. Aroma of nettle, yeast and grapefruit. Taste has nettle, creamy kveik yeast, citrus and grapefruit. Solid.
