Sweet, creamy and refreshingly tart. Key Lime Pie is a dish named after the Key limes that grow in abundance throughout the Florida Keys. With added lactose for body and sweetness, oats for a creamy mouthfeel, and 48 hours of kettle souring, it's the 10kg of fresh lime zest that make this beer one clean, tart, refreshing son of a gun.

Sampled @ Sori Taproom. poured orange like in color. Tart and lemony aroma. Citric, zesty and tart. More sweet towards finish. Not a beer for me.

Keg at the brewery tap. Pours unclear orange-gold with a small, foamy white topping. Tasty, with understated lime zest, oily peel, low acidity, relaxed citric tartness, some supportive malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Pretty well balanced finish, if lacking a little in cohesion. Still, drinks fine overall.

Keg tap at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Golden and clear with a wisp of white head. Very light aroma, some light fruit but I'm not getting any lime specifically. Sweet taste - this is the least sour of any sour I've ever had. Perhaps a touch of sour mid-sip, but I put that mostly down to the lime zest that does come out quite well in the taste. Lime sherbet notes in the afteratste. A tasty and overall accessible sour, but tartheads should look elsewhere.
