Bottle. Black color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, mild vineous barrels, some cherries. Taste is chocolate, sweet, caramel, mild barrels. Thick oily mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Good!

Tap. Pours pitch black with a medium brown head. Aromas of fudge, cherries, chocolate, vanilla, dark fruits, subtle tartness and ashy roasted notes. Taste has cherries, chocolate, fudge, light ash, bitter roast, vanilla, vinous notes, light tartness and oak in the backend.

Lots of barrel and cherry, mixed with a brautifully smooth, chocolatey base. Really smooth mouthfeel, great combination of fruit, barrels and beer.

From bottle thanks to Fotis!! Black color with beige head. Malty roasted aroma, chocolate, vanilla, sweet dark red fruity - sweet cherries, bourbon, wood, very light vinous. Sweet and light bitter taste. Medium to full oily body with soft carbonation.

Sweet and dark cherry notes. Jet black with a decent light brown. Sweet cherry and dark chocolate with a long finish.

Tasting at Brian's
Black colour. Sweet, chocolate character, dessert like, chocolate bar, peanut butter, nuts, hints of red wine, some booze but fairly well hidden.
Good but a bit excessive.

Bottle. Black colour, Thin head. Has coffee, vanilla, bourbon, nice vinous notes, some cherry accents. Thick, sweet, nice vanilla, light cherry. Chocolatey. There's a nice tannic note from the barrel. Rich, and complex. There's a lot going on here. Nice. There's so many elements and they are in balance. Balanced cherry in the finish with an element of vanilla and chocolate.
