0.355 l bottle from 'EDEKA Preller' (Breckerfeld), best before June 2019. Clear, ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, light beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and a bit herbal-spicy aroma of caramel, raisin and plum. Gently sweet, malty, slightly bitter, moderately fruity and a little herbal-spicy taste of caramel, plum, raisin and traces of molasses, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently dry, slightly herbal-spicy and a bit grassy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid Ale, nicely balanced but not overly deep.

Bottle. Color: Ruby, beige head. Aroma: Malt, caramel, grassy hop. Taste: Moderate sweet dark malt, caramel, toast, hints of mocha and coffee. Llight to moderate grassy hopbitterness. Herbal hints. Easy drinkable, pretty smooth mouthfeel, mild. Medium body, below average carbonation. Nice one.

Schöner stabiler Schaum, kaum Perlung, viele Schwebstoffe. In der Nase sehr malzig. Im Trunk ebenso, dazu Holz, leicht röstig, rauchig. Hinten leichte Bitternoten. Langer trockener Abgang.

350 ml bottle. Pours murky dark brown cloured, big beige foamy head. Nuts, caramel, figs, dried plums, a bit dark chocolate, caramel, toasted bread. Very balanced taste, malty sweetness and some bitterness. Medium bodied, oily creamy texture, soft to low carbonated, dry finish, bitter aftertaste. Smooth and round. Good stuff!

Pours brown from the bottle and leaves a finger-thick, creamy head. The aroma is toffee, caramel. Taste is mildly sweet with light sour, fruity notes. A deliciously smooth, rich, creamy palate enlivens what otherwise might be a rather mundane experience. Overall quite good.

Draught. Frothy White good mostly deminishing head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.
