Bottle split. Hazy pale yellow gold with no head. Aroma: peat smoke, iodine, honey, vanilla, beeswax, floral. Taste: moderate sweet, beeswax and peat, iodine, honey, floral, salty edge. Medium body with low carbonation

Bottle 500ml. clear glass @ [ Pre-Borefts 2019 Tasting ] - Kermis House - Zaandam, Netherlands.

[ As Metsiederei Eckert Othlannden ].
ABV: 11.5%. Hazy medium yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is honey, smoke, peat, iodine. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, peat, honey, beeswax, iodine. Body is medium, texture is oily - sticky, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20190926]

Sampled at Borefts Pre-Tasting 2019. Appearance -apologize in advance- really looks like thin watery semen. Ughh. Odd peaty aroma, flavor is a weird mix of paint, pet and sweet honey notes. It's not bad but really odd it definitely is.

Bottle at pre borefts tasting. Pours hazy yellow, nose is peaty, beeswax, honey, taste is juicy honey, meaty smoky finish. Nice. 4

Bottle shared at Pre-Borefts Tasting ‘19. Hazy pale yellow with no head. Aroma of smoke, peat, oak and floral honey. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled at pre-Borefts tasting. Hazy light yellow, no head. Peat, honey, light fruits, alcohol. Then the whisky kicks in! Quite good stuff, good honey, fruit, whisky and peat. Quite sweet, light tart. Full bodied. Nice!

Shared at Per-Borefts Tasting 2019. A hazy yellow colour. Aroma of dry strong moderate sweet honey wine. Taste of dry honey wine, wax, herbs. Strange.

Hazy yellow. Aroma is nice cristallized honey some vanilla as well. Taste is a bit spicy with wet seagrass and wood. Also very sweet honey and a hinge of peat smoke. Nice one.

Bottle courtesy of Stefan, many thanks!. Consumed with München Ratebeer Tasting group at Jonas's, Garching, Wednesday 21st August 2019. The elastoplast is somewhat softened by a dustiness, really dusty furniture, cloudy yellow. Sweetness is occasionally a little punchy, some boozy fumes, good.
