Alcohol-free Oatmeal Stout, or an Oat Stout, is a dark, lightly toasted beer with a velvety texture derived from oat flakes, further emphasized with nitrogen with which we saturated the beer instead of carbon dioxide. You have to pour it by tilting the bottle vertically, so that you can observe a beautiful cascade of tiny bubbles and enjoy a creamy foam. Trzech Kumpli plays unplugged!

This beer – according to the law – is considered an alcohol-free one, but it still may contain traces of alcohol. So, if for some reason you have to avoid alcohol completely, choose a 100% soft drink;)

A very dark beer, almost black. Fine-bubble, beige head, though medium-long. Aroma with roasted notes, grainy coffee, and cocoa. The taste is light, velvety, and pleasantly toasted. Medium bitterness, cocoa, roasted notes, and light herbal notes. Medium-full and velvety on the palate. Extremely drinkable.

Kolor ciemnobrązowy, wpadający w czerń, nieprzejrzysty, piana beżowa, azotowa, ale dość skąpa. Zapach dość intensywny, nuty palone, ciemny karmel, prażone orzechy laskowe, odrobina mleka, cynamonu i suchej psiej karmy gdzieś w tle. W smaku półpełne, delikatnie palone, gorzka czekolada, kakao, minimalny cynamon, trochę świeżych ziół i lekkie nuty chmielowe, całość dość czysta. Goryczka średnia, kakao, nuty palone, lekkie zioła. W ustach pełne, aksamitne, geste, wysuszające. nasycenie niskie.

Barwa niemal czarna, piana beżowa, dość obfita, dość trwała. W aromacie kawa, lekka paloność. W smaku wytrawne, kawowe, palone, lekka nuta zbożowa. Goryczka niska, wysycenie niskie, ciało lekkie, piwo jest gładkie stosunkowo. Niezłe, ale brakuje jednak konkretu, czuć te zaledwie 8% ekstraktu.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 16B adapted: low alcohol). Can 50 cl - Batch 01666 (BB 02.11.2024). AROMA: medium to medium-low worty-like aroma with hints of smoke and charcoal. APPEARANCE: very dark brown body and opaque. low light brown head with low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low worty-like sweet flavor, faint nuttiness overwhelmed by medium-high roasted malt (burnt, charcoal, slight smoke). medium to medium-high bitterness with a dry and burnt finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with low carbonation. slight astringency from roasted malts. OVERALL: a low alcohol oatmeal stout with excessive roastiness.
