Bottle. Cloudy red, tiny pink head. Dark berry aroma, some honey. Sweet flavour, sweet blackcurrant, honey. Not as Ribena-like as feared. Has a nice, slightly tart edge to it. Soft carb, dry finish.

[ As Mad Scientist Svart ].
ABV: 7.0%. Unclear medium amber red colour with virtually no head (smoothie look). Aroma is moderate honey, tart berry - black currant, rich berries. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, tart berries - fruit, sweet honey, black currant, ribena, finish is honey and quit dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic, even it is only ABV: 7.0% ! [20190831]

Tap @ Highlanders, Aarhus. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber/red. Aroma and taste are red fruits, berries, hiney, malt and has a nice sweet hiney finish.

Draught @ Highlanders Bar, Aarhus. Pours murky red, no head, chunky fruit smoothie look. Aroma of honey, rich tart fruit, red berries, black currant, rhubarb. Flavor is sweet, honey, tart fruity, red berries, berry skin, tannins, blackcurrant. Full body, soft carbonation, sweet but ends up really dry. 220819

RBESG 19 Grand Tasting. My notes say That Melom. Fucking hell I'm glad I could track this down without that much hassle... Red body, almost no head, murky. Honeyish, almost malty aroma, licorice, berries. Sweet yoghurty, sugary taste, light berries. Not bad, but paled in comparison to the other meads that day.

Bottle. Murky purple color with white head. Aroma is red berries, milky, honey. Taste is honey, red berry yoghurt. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Fun!
