330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, beige to tan head. Intensely fruity, slightly chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of cherry, plum, strawberry, a touch of blue grapes, hints of chocolate, cocoa, chocolate cookies, vanilla, a touch of cinnamon, vinous fruity and oaky overtones, a touch of coconut. Taste is sweet, chocolately dark malty, slightly nutty, spicy and fruity, notes of milk chocolate, chocolate cookies, a touch of coconut, cinnamon, some cherry, plum, blue grapes, strawberry, vanilla, minimally dry, oaky overtones, some fruit acidic tartness. Viscous, creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Very rich, intense, manifold, good balance, controlled sweetness; a little bit of everything with very felicitous outcome - very good.

Ik had meer zieke zoetigheid verwacht. Cocos, marshmallows, chocolade. Maar niet kapot zoet. Gewoon stevig zoet.

JUL-2019. BOTTLE. Pitch black, mocha head. Aroma is so pastry - sweet chocolate, cinnamon, coconut - smells like a Bounty candy bar. The taste is surprisingly balanced - all that candy is well balanced by the roast barley acidity and solid hop alpha acids. Touch of warming alcohol nicely finishes the beer. Really solid.
JUN-2019. DRAFT at Festivalul Girafelor, Iași. Sweeeet, cinnamon and coconut and sweet chocolate. Similar taste. Really sweet but in a good pastry / way. Some green hops in the finish do not make a lot of difference.

330ml bottle from a trade (cheers Neil). Black with a small beige head. Aroma of cake, chocolate, vanilla, coconut, cinammon, caramel, nuts. Taste is rich, sweet, chocolatey, vanilla, cinnamon, coconut, nutty, caramel, roast malts, light bitterness. Full bodied, smooth. Wonderfully decadent stout.

RBESG 19 Grand Tasting. Extremely dark brown body with an off white head. Pistachio icecream in the aroma, sweet, with coconut... actually, mostly coconut. Taste-wise this is smooth, smooth but lean Raffaello. Romanians make some great stuff these days!

Bottle, many thanks ciocanelu! Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is pistacchio, coconuts, cocoa. Taste is pistacchio, cocoa, chocolate, nutty. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Well-made, but it's basically Raffaelo.

Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of coconut, sun tan lotion, milk chocolate, artificial and chemical. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
