Bottle. Very black with a scant coat of light tan head. Boozy aroma with singed toffee, mocha, vanilla, maple. Getting towards syrupy - the carbonation is lowish but enough to lighten it a little. Very sweet at first with singed/ smoked dark sugars, mocha (mostly chocolate). The other - drying, woody - side of maple comes in and tames the sweetness. After that, a breath of booze, a little one for 12.9%. Presence yes, depth no.
