This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.
ABV of 5.2% in bottles, and 4.5% on cask.

Can. Pours clear dark yellow with a large foamy beige head, faint banana aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter malty taste with sharp banana flavor, biscuit-bread, thin body, long banana bread finish. Strange beer, though exactly as promised.

11.2 oz can from The Mansion. Pours a clear bronze color with a small khaki head and decent retention. A few spots of lacing. Aroma of light caramel and light spices. The banana flavor is subtle, but itโs there, mixed with light caramel notes. Tastes like a banana version of a pumpkin beer with a little less spice. Smooth, clean, and easy drinking. Medium body. Semi-slick mouthfeel. Medium-light carbonation. No bitterness. Better than I expected.

Reddish copper with a frothy head that fades away. Aroma might best be described as banana flavored bubblegum. Taste is mildly sweet with an artificial feel. The long, lingering banana note at the end though goes better, halfway genuine, and makes for a decent finish. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation. Not much depth overall but drinkable.
