RBESG 19. Bottle, I assume Günther's. Murky golden body, white head. Smooth, smooth aroma, mixing cloves/phenols with berry-like touches. Atypical in a way, but pleasant, but then the taste comes to blow everything away. Very much smooth, dominated by citric, even lime-like notes mixing with the classic weizen notes underneath. Very drinkable, supremely even for the ABV. One of the best atypical Weizenbocks I've ever had!

Fläschla (750ml): Golden, cloudy, visible carbonation, big sized and stable beaten-egg-white-like head, moderate to solid sweet and sourish nose of citrus and exotic fruits, mild traces of cloves, wheat and yeast underneath, aromatic-grapefruity hops also well detectable; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, a bit fizzy; lingering sweet fruity and grapefruity-bitter finish with a slight alcohol-burn in the aftertaste. Very satisfying stuff, obviously the Bayreuth version of the Schneider Hopfen-Weisse...
