Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours black-brown with. Foamy, khaki head. Moderately sweet, nice rich dark malt character, toasted pine, orange, some rindy bitterness, a little roast. Medium to full bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, mild resin, burnt pine, a little roast and smoke, citrus background. Very drinkable sauce.

Can at James's. Pours deep brown, nose is roasted, lemon, chocolate, taste is sweet toffee, dry roasted, bitter lemon, coconut.

Can thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - dark brown with a thin fawn head. Nose - creamy milk chocolate and hazelnuts. Earthy. Taste - almonds and creamy chocolate. Hard coconut flesh. Palate - creamy texture, very light hop bitterness. Medium bodied. Overall - like it. Not really a black IPA.

Can at home from Trembling Madness, 24th April 2021. Pours black and a nice white head. Aroma is pineapple and aromatic hops, taste is slick, cocoa, smooth, light bitter and aromatic, I love the Sabro and Sorachi in this brew, reminds me of Raven by Thornbridge, which is an excellent BIPA, this is all very good

44 cl. can shared with Suus @ home, bought @ Plus Culemborg. Black with an off-white head. Caramel and roasted malts, tropical fruit and some coconut. Sweet taste with a moderate bitter finish. Nice one.

oeh... see õlu on hea näide miks ma tänapäeval üldiselt Keesi ei osta. Kus on humalad, kus on röst?! Maitseb suht läägelt ja NEIPA-selt. Näpuotsaga on röstlinnaseid ka pandud. Iseeneset halb ei ole, aga black ipa fännina, seda rohkem ei ostaks.

Can. Pours black with a small white head. Aroma is very fruity, coconut, lime, passion fruit - woah, very tropical for a BIPA. The Sorachi Ace and Talus make this very peculiar and interesting. Medium body. Flavour is dark malts, especially chocolate malt, light sweetness and bitterness. Light cacao and chocolate notes, some caramel, light pine, but then an onslaught of tropical fruit. Coconut, lime, peach, orange, light melon, light grape notes. Super interesting black IPA, the hops chosen make this super fruity and way more tropical than most BIPA. A bit unusual when you first start sipping, but really good, and definitely a great flavour combination.

Panda thanks to Fergus: Poured a malty brown color with a tan color head. Aroma is hoppy, roasted malts. Taste is hoppy citrus, some roasted malt, orange.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 11/04/21. Light black with a decent khaki covering that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is dried fruits, pine needle, charr, cocoa powder, dusty hops, brown sugar sprinkle. Taste comprises sweet malts, perfume, light spice, pine needle, burnt toffee, cocoa sprinkle, red berry nip. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced hop bitterness. Decent CDA if perhaps a touch on the sweet side.
