Thanks Christine for this bottle coming from smart beer. Opening it yesterday, at home, Epalinges, after a busy day. For this second time, I had less pleasure, it is ok but it was grainy, hazy, grassy, a bit unbalanced, fruity, boozy, citrus, 29.03.23, at Epalinges.

Wow! Kein klassisches NEIPA, viel sanfter, fruchtiger und vielschichtiger als andere Vertreter. Mosaic sorgt für tropische Noten, der Hafer für die Erdung. Top.

DIPA présentant seulement 20 IBU, cette Double Oat manque de brillance avec une amertume pas asse marquée et ciselée et à contrario une base maltée trop présente. Pour accentuer un peu plus les déséquilibres, l'alcool, pourtant qu'à 8 % est mal intégré et de fait, dissonant. Les arômes sont néanmoins appréciables sur un cocktail de fruits exotiques, d'herbes, de pêche et pamplemousse. Le visuel est sur un blond limpide, avec très peu d'effervescence et sans aucune mousse. Le nez est agréable, avec un côté lacté et sur les fruits exotiques, les herbes, la pêche et le pamplemousse. Dès l'attaque, le manque de vivacité se fait ressentir. Et bien que les arômes soient plaisants (avec un léger poivre en complément), l'ensemble manque d'une amertume vive et précise. La seconde bouche est pareillement poussive avec l'alcool qui est légèrement dissonant. L'alcool ressort d'ailleurs encore davantage en arrière-bouche. Final, sans flamboyance nous laisse sur cette amertume poussive où les arômes sont bien mal mis en valeur par une structure imprécise.

Bottle. Pours a rather clear gold with a small head. Definitely a NEIPA from the description an taste, but with a very clear appearance. Very fruity and especially exotic aroma. Pineapple, passion fruit, mango. Medium body. Flavour is malty and medium sweet. Mango, passion fruit and pineapple, some orange. Low bitterness, fruity but not juicy. Nice fruity NEIPA.

0.33l bottle many thanks to Lore. Hazy yellow body with a thin white head. Aroma and taste of oat, bread, mango, elderflower and a tiny bit of grass. The taste is a bit chalky too. I like that the finish has a mellow but lasting hop bitterness to it. The 8% alcohol is very well hidden. Very nice beer.

On tap at Fakin Craft Fest 2019. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white to off-white head, mild citrusy nose. Sweet malty, citrusy, light tropical fruits and touch of alcohol with juicy fruity finish. Fresh and pleasant taste.
