Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a beige head. Massive tonka aroma - that's all there is. Medium body, very dry roastiness, some unclean ashtray accents and a slight tartness. And throughout MASSIVE tonka notes. I honestly feel the beer is too thin and weak for the overpowering tonka notes. 220222

330ml bottle. Dark brown colour with ruby shimmer and huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, spicy, minimally nutty and chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of cinnamon and tonka beans, a touch of allspice, hazelnut, milk chocolate. Taste is sweet-ish, spicy, slightly nutty, caramel malty and chocolately, dark malty, notes of tonka beans, cinnamon, hints of milk chocolate, caramel, a touch of hazelnut. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium to coarse, lively carbonation. Very intense, harmonious and balanced, sadly quite overcarbonated - very, very nice.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Black, mid sized head. Caramelly nose with some tonka beans. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, coffee, milk chocolate and tonka beans. Low bitterness. Thankfully the moderate use of tonka beans might have made the first ever haromonious and balanced beer with tonka in history.

Moderate earthy intense beginning. Lots of tonka, caramel, deep earthy tons of tonka. Cake, caramel, moderate bitterness with cake-earth-tonka finish. Great.
