330ml bottle. Clear, dark chestnut colou rwith ruby shimmer and huge, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white to beige head. Grainy, spelty, minimally bready, dark malty aroma, herbal hoppy hints of mint, menthol, eucalyptus, a touch of pumpernickel and cocoa. Taste is bitter, herbal-grassy hoppy, roasty dark malty, subtle sweetness, hints of mint, menthol, eucalyptus, woodruff, all accompanied by rather unspecific fruitiness, weak coffee and pumpernickel basic layer. More Black IPA than Dark Lager IMO (besides the label says Dark Ale). Somewhat idiosyncratic - OK.
