Die Brauerei General mit dem fröhlichen Doppeldecker im Logo war auch auf dem CBF 2023 vertreten, ging aber neben der anderen slowakischen Brauerei Hellstork etwas unter. Dieses klassische, mit 14° PLATO sehr schwere IPA hatte eigentlich alles, was man sich von einem solchen Bier erwartet, konnte aber nicht so recht rausstechen. EIn solides IPA, das nicht überfordert und aber nach einem bald etwas fad wird.

Plechovka from Drinkshop.sk. Alez mocarne jest to piwo, podkrecona chmielnosc, zywicznosc na maksa, To jest to co tygrysy lubia najbardziej, No ale zarty na bok. Piekna puszysta i miejscami slimakowa piana cos jakby wloskie lody z automatu. Metne po calosci od samego poczatku podczas nalewania do szklanki IPA Bevog'a, cudowny i silny aromat cytrusow i swiezej zywicy z domieszka propolisu. W smaku miod wrzosowy, zywica, cytrusy, gozka sycylijska pomarancza, grejfrut, nieco melona, cytryny, musu jablkowego z zimowych kwasnych jablek. Doskonaly profil, wyrazisty, chmielny i baardzo trwaly. IPA na zloty medal.

1/7/2022. Can from Drinkshop.sk shared at Saxo's, cheers John. Pours slightly hazy pale golden orange with a small frothy white head. Aroma of malt, hops, citrus, stone fruits, , pine, grass, touch of herb. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Nice bitter finish.

Can from drinkshop.sk. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are bitter hops, fruits, flowers, malt and has a nice bitter finish.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

500ml can. Clear, orange golden colour with huge, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Piney, grassy and slightly zesty, citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background, hints of tangerine, orange peel, some grapefruit. Taste is moderately bitter, grassy, slightly piney, zesty, citrusy fruity hoppy, caramel malty basis with little residual sweetness, hints of grapefruit, a mineral touch; lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and dry, minimally greasy palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, well balanced, probably not the most flavourful IPA in the world - OK.
