It seems like only yesterday when we released Batch 1000, a beer that turned out to be one of our most successful IPAs ever, and a beer which seems to have a cult following that insist on us bringing it back. And now we're already at Batch 2000. Well, to be completely honest, we brewed Batch # 2000 a long time ago, but we have saved the actual batch number for this release, waiting to find the right hops to give you something special.
We would love to dedicate this beer to the true Amager Bryghus fans. To those who show up at our events whether at the brewery or at festivals all across the world, those that appreciate our beers and what we stand for. Those that understand genuine and constant quality and aren't prone to chasing cheap thrills or the most recent fad around the corner. Dudes and dudettes, we salute you. And as we have said so many times before, you made us what we are - and we wouldn't be here without you. Thank you!

Can from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. Hazy amber with a medium head. Grapefruit, pine, some malt and light caramel. Bitter finish.

Canned, from Systembolaget. Lightly hazy amber, mid sized head. Fruity nose with pine and and grapefruit. Mid sweet with solid body and rounded mouthfeel. Husky bread, mild grapefruit. Long bitter finish. Overall solid.

Can picked up from To Øl Webshop, Copenhagen, Denmark and consumed at home Sunday 22nd May 2021 we are cooking a Thomasina Miers Chilli con Carne for tea tonight with a Sweet Potato Mole and Navajo Flatbread. Listening to Shame - Drunk Tank Pink. Pours hazy warm gold in colour with a white head. Thick mouthfeel, a little honey. Very bitter, really bitter, dry, quite harsh, citrussy, piney, pithy. v.good.

Burk från Systembolaget. Bärnsten med ett fast skum. Uppdaterad doft från batch 1000, mango, citrus och lite tall. Men mindre humlig smak, mer koda och tall, oljig.

Can, 0.44l. Aroma of mango, citrus, papaya, flowers, pine and biscuit. Pours clear amber color with large soapy tan-like head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet caramelly and bready, following is refreshing tropical fruity, herbal and faint medicinal, mouthfeel is mild spicy and rather dry, while finish is heavy bitter. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. 2000 reasons for another one...

Nog iets bitterder dan de 1000, maar qua overige smaken niet veel sterker. Wel een vleugje dennen erbij. Een iets minder goed geheel dan die 1000, maar nog steeds wel de moeite van het drinken waard.
