I was pleasantly surprised with this new version of boxer that doppelleu have bought this year, aromatic american pale ale, bitter, watery, 08.05.18, at Lausanne, Prélaz, buying it in one coop.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso l'orzo. La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. La carbonazione è bassa e le bollicine hanno una la velocità di risalita morbida. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è medio. L'amaro è moderato. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Il finale è semplice. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al palato arrivano indizi di erbe aromatiche, carta e cartone.

33cl bottle from Coop Supermarché Vich in Switzerland. F: big, egg-white, good retention. C: deep gold, almost clear. A: malty, bready, herbal, bit caramel, citrus touch, toasted tones. T: medium body, caramel, herbal, bit bready, nice hoppy, bit spicy, toasted tones, medium carbonation, very nice balanced for the style, enjoyed for sure.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a unclear golden with a white creamy head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, grainy malts. Taste is sweet, grassy, caramel, grainy.

3/2/2021. Bottle courtesy of Asbjorn, cheers. Pours slightly hazy golden with a short lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, grainy, caramel, touch herbal and floral. Medium plus sweetness, low bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation. Not a big fan of this.

bottigli 33 cl, schiuma bianca media grana media persistenza, colore giallo velato, al naso limone malto cereali note erbacee, in bocca è fruttata malto agrumi leggero miele, corpo leggero, carbonazione moderata, attacco dolce con amaro moderato. (bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly bready malty nose with herbal-spicy, resiny and subtle citric hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Mildly malty base with a complex and rounded hops profile, leading into a mildly dry and slightly bitter finish with citric, resiny and spicy hoppy accents. Good one. 30.VII.18

Bouteille (@ coop Yvenon): Pale golden, hazy, stable white foam, moderate floral and mildly herbal nose with some citrussy spots; moderate to robust dryish bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied, but also a bit fizzy; dry and lingering fruity-bitter finish with a very delicate malty sweetness in the aftertaste. Wow! Compared to a "Cardinal" a real gorgeous brew...
