If you like blackcurrant…..well then this one is for you Because both aroma and flavor are really blackcurrant dominated Not to acidic either. Ana a fine carbonation level [Can from Systembolaget in Strömstad, Sweden]

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear red with a small, pinkish head. Now THAT is one weird aroma!! Smells like that brand of hand soap as a bar paired with elderflower. Really odd, if not exactly unpleasant. Light in body, massively tart and there may be a hard to pinpoint fruit or berry note, but would I have guessed it to be blackcurrant? Absolutely not! Weird shit! 120821

Can from Systembolaget. A very mature berliner with strong pang of the svarta vinbar. Classic finish for the style. Decent.

ABV: 4.8%. Light cloudy medium to light red colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white - silver head. Aroma is wheat, tart, sour, red berries, blackcurrant. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, red berries - black currant, dough, baking yeast, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20210619]

Canned, from Systembolaget. Hazy purple with pink head. Lemony nose with some black curant sorbet. Citric with light body and clean mouthfeel. Citric acid, frozen raspberries and black currant. Distinct and straight forward, no complexity. No bitterness.
