Gunson is a bold, classic India Pale Ale with plenty of character derived from a mixture of both Citra and other American hops.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Hazed deep orange verging on copper colour. Slim dense sticky white foam. Nose has marmalade on buttered toast all day. Taste is fairly sweet with some decent bitterness. Plenty of body here. Good bitter finish. No idea why this is on here as a session ipa btw. Solid old school style tasty and bitter pow wow.

Bottle from Craft & Berry. Appearance - golden with a creamy white head. Nose - grass or silage. Brown bread. Taste - more grassiness with dry digestive biscuit. Palate - light bodied, roasty middle and finish. Just avoids being astringent. Overall - ok.
