Can from Left Field Beer, Solihull. The hazelnuts are prominent in the aroma, moreso than the cocoa. Appears dark and glossy but pours a light cola brown. Thick foamy light beige head. Initial light-medium bitterness with a good dose of choc and nuts. Initially a malty follow up but then gains bitterness although ironically there's also a hint of sweetness alongside this. Light bodied. Creamy but thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. At first the initial flava dropped off and it seemed rather thin, however it then redeemed itself.
