330ml can from Beer52. Black with a moderate sized tanned foamy head with great retention. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee beans, some sweetness. A lovely smooth creamy texture despite it being just shy of a medium body. Taste has a roasty bitterness with coffee coming through well and enough sweetness to balance. Maybe could do with an extra punch of flavour but its very sessionable. Good.

Pours a oily-looking deep brown with a foamy beige head, and a subtle aroma of coffee grounds and roasted malt. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied, almost creamy, with sweet, milky coffee flavours predominating before a light, dry bitterness finishes things off, roasted malt sitting behind it all

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 17/04/21. Black with a good sized tan head that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is roast malts, dark chocolate, dried red berries, coffee bean. Taste comprises roasted bite, light ashen tang, chocolate, umami, dried fruit esters, hint of coffee, vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent porter.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A glossy black pour with a tight tan head; rich coffee aroma; smooth and silky in the mouth with an intense fruity coffee taste that isn’t overpowering; then a creamy lactic finish with some chocolate and red berries. An excellent Porter.
