Can. A- Maple, cinnamon rolls, chocolate. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Maple, cinnamon, cocoa powder, caramel sauce, vanilla, mild toasted coconut, slightly nutty, roasty, sweet, mild bitterness. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. O- Bruery stouts have been hit or miss for me. This was a bit cloying but boy did it hit the stick bun mark really dang well. Smelled great and taste wasn't quite to par with the aroma, but with so much going on, it's a wonder it's not a sticky mess. Solid brew that is best served in small pours and shared with others.

Can, 10.2%. Black with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, cinnamon, pecan and vanilla. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, cinnamon, sweet, vanilla, maple, warming and a little bitter.

On tap at The Bruery, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of toasted pecans, loads of maple syrup, and a little cinnamon. Flavour is sweet and nearly cloying, with intense bourbon, vanilla, cinnamon, and light pecans. Becomes more cloying with each additional sip. Not all that cohesive and more just a blunt instrument that wrecks your palate with intensity. Fun stuff.

Bruery rarely disappoints, not here either, tasty sticky bun tasting sticky bun! Cinnamon packs the finish, sweet and well-done.

From a 473ml can on 29/5/2021. Pours near black with a medium tan head. Has quite a strong maple and vanilla nose. Tastes of maple, The cinnamon, nuts with a slightly sharp, slightly roasty bitterness. Has a syrupy palate with moderate carbonation. Certainly has more than a bit of sticky bun about it. Comes together rather nicely, but could be a touch sweeter. Still an excellent beer.

Can. Pours opaque black, large brown head, creamy and lasting. Aroma is cocoa, cinnamon, toffee, vanilla, maple. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter. Full body, creamy. Really is reminiscent of a sticky bun, but surprisingly less sweet than expected.

Pours a deep, thick brown-black, with smallish tan head. Aroma is maple syrup, cinnamon, pecans. Flavor follows, with a touch of bourbon. The ABV is well-hidden. Nice, sweet, decadent dessert beer. Soft, full mouthfeel. Mmmmm...
