$4.25 pint can, Beer Run. My can says 73 IBU rather than the 100 listed here. Pours very hazy orange with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is resin, thick grapefruit, tropical fruit. Flavor is thick resin, grapefruit rind, caramel malt. Resin lasts for a bit. Good, not great.

Can on the terrace of AEON Liquors Jiyugaoka, Tokyo. Pours nice orange, some white foam, light haze, looking tasty. Tropical fruits in the nose, some resins but also getting mango, papaya and some citrus (orange?). Taste is decently hoppy, full on West Coast, hoppy, resiny and dank. Feels weird to call this "old school" but well, it is not some new wave NEIPA but just a very good double IPA, fully satisfying as it is. Mouth-twisting bitterness drying the mouth during aftertaste, enjoyable.

16 ounce can. Pours a clear very orange hue with a small white head. A cool design. A bit fruity nose. Sweet resin, sharp bitterness, I miss that, some mango, a husky dry finish. Very good IIPA. Loads of flavor.

16 oz. can, pours a hazy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is very tropical and juicy, with resinous hops, and woody piney hops. Flavour is very juicy and malty, with heaps of resinous and piney hops, tropical stone fruits, and caramel bready malt. Resinous, sticky, juicy and somewhat sweet. Very good juicy west coast IIPA.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 11/29/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, fairly crisp, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel. that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.7%. Overall this is an awesome DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV; with the modestly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. The Citra/Mosaic/Comet hop profile is all wonderfully showcased. Great balance of juicy, dank, and vibrant hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. Very well attenuated for the ABV. A really enjoyable offering.
