Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, grain, sweet malt, light hoppy, grass - vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to short duration, pale malt, sweet malt, grain, light grass - vegetables, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20200327]

From Elsfleth HolAb. Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma full of fresh straw, mixed grains and an unexpected note of birthday cake. Taste is mildly bitter and the whole way through with some mild graininess. Subtle layer of freshly baked white bread sweetness underneath. Medium bodied with balanced carbonation. Not bad for the style.

18/10/2019. Tap, part of their taster board, at ÜberQuell Brauwerkstätten, Hamburg. Poured slightly hazy pale yellow gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, sweet malt, fresh hops and grain. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily watery texture, soft carbonation. Quite ok.

Tight creamy white head stayed on a pale straw coloured slowly carbonating body. Blunt aroma of pale malt & grass. Medium bodied, soft & short on the palate with cloying back. Bitter tastes with grain, Kellogg's, faint malt, bread & grassy tastes.

Clear yellow. Aroma is light starchy grains with traces of yeast and noble hops. Taste is bitter with some spelt and the part of lime that is not sour. Quite drinkable. Decent.

Bottle. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is nice grassy hops, Hallertau character. Taste is grassy, fresh hops, cereals, nice unfiltered. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Very nice, though this is more of a Zwickelpils than a Helles.
