500ml bottle bought at Cornelius Beer and Wine in Edinburgh. Pours a deep, russet coloured topped by a light brown, frothy head. Both smell and taste have got a malty character, slightly roasted and moderately sweet. Medium bodied and soft carbonated [24.10.2008]

(Bottled, BB 03/2010). Very dark brown color, small off-white head. Bready, mämmi-like perfumic nose. Sour milky lactose, coffee, roasted malts then sugary finish with low bitterness. Chocolate notes are nice, but it is all. Combination of sweet porter and strong ale was not so successful.

Dark brown beer with small beige head. Aroma is complex and there are some sweetness, roasted malts, redberries and hint of sourness. Flavour is quite simple after nice aroma: malty, slightly roasted and quite dry. Quite easy and light to drink but still nice. Aroma was promised something special but flavour was quite simple and not-characteristic. Worth to try but propably I don’t buy this anymore.
